Hello, I'm Ali, I guess this is technically my blog, neat.

To start, the site is written in Go using it's templating engine. Even though it took me a mere 2 days to figure out, it's pretty cool, I am very happy with the little date thing as it lets you use the standard Go date formatting so I can have YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS, a perfect date format. I've also used finally gotten round to figuring out how to use Bubbletea, there's a terminal interface I'm writing this post in that's written with it, it's an interesting little library but I was not used to the "ELM" architecture and I'm not a huge fan. This blog is likely to be a mismash of whatever tumbles from my head. I have thoughts often, some about things I've read/seen, some ideas for projects I feel must be shared and sometimes other things. As someone who grew up surrounded by the internet, and Aaron Sorkin films, I've been led to believe that every thought which tumbles from my head must be shared with the world, no matter how great, small or truly repulsive it may be. Hence, this will be where those thoughts go to die.
