Hello, welcome back to the website/blog I started a while ago and then promptly forgot about. The bio on home (as of pixel time) is comically out of date, I don't work there, or live there, anymore.

Anyway, back in Jan '25 I bought myself a film camera off eBay, an Olympus OM-1n, along with a bunch of lenses. I've now shot a bit more film and feel reasonably comfortable posting it somewhere, even here where they will never be seen. The photos are shot either back home or around Cardiff Bay, with the colour stuff on Kodak Gold 200, and the B+W is Fomapan 400. The photos are also pretty grimy because I scan using my phone as a backlight and a DSLR with a huge amount of free air between the film and lens, and the colour casts are all over the place because I'm bad at editing.

A gang of birds, just kinda chilling at the Cardiff Bay wetlands. God, what an easy life it must be.

Stick in the Mud

A big metal stick thing, in drying mud, at the entrance of Cardiff Harbour. I'm not sure either what the stick is, or quite why there's a floaty white... aura around it.
